Your Role: As our new Sales Engineer, you’ll drive the sales process for our North American market, acting as a technical advisor throughout the sales pipeline. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for building lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical advisor, working closely with the sales team to understand client requirements, qualify opportunities, and design comprehensive technical solutions.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance throughout the pre-sales, sales, and post-sales lifecycle for customers and partners.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key technical stakeholders within client organizations.
- Lead the technical aspects of proposals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Facilitate seamless communication between clients, partners, and our internal Research and Development teams, ensuring timely issue resolution and effective feedback integration.
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in a technical pre-sales or customer-facing role, such as a Security Consultant, System Integrator, or System Engineer.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with complex networks, protocols, and networking technologies; CCNA certification or equivalent is a significant advantage.
- Specific experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the IT Security market, Internet of Things (IoT), or Operational Technology (OT) is strongly preferred.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, GICSP, ISA99 Cyber security, IACRB Certified SCADA Security Architect, ISO27001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong sales acumen, a dedicated work ethic, and a commitment to achieving goals.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Experience in the field of ICS (Industrial Control Systems) security projects
