About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structured System and Solution Architect to join our innovative security-oriented company. 

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing our cutting-edge SaaS software platform for the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• System Architecture: Define and maintain the overall system architecture, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and our company's strategic goals.
• Solution Design: Develop comprehensive solution designs, including technical specifications, data models, and integration points .
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• CI/CD Pipeline: Design, implement, and maintain a robust CI/CD pipeline to automate the software delivery process.
• Security: Ensure the security and privacy of our platform as well as customer data by implementing appropriate security measures.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, the technology management team, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, providing innovative solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize system performance and scalability to meet the growing needs of our customers.

Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience as a System or Solution Architect in a SaaS environment.
• Extensive experience in architecting and implementing scalable .NET solutions e.g. by leveraging C#, ASP.NET Core, Azure, and cloud-native technologies.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in modern software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
• Architecture Skills: Deep understanding of microservices architecture, cloud-native technologies, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.) and automation frameworks.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (we primarily run Azure).
• Security: Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Security Certifications: Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
• Manufacturing Industry: Understanding of the manufacturing industry and its specific security challenges.
