In this role, you will support our finance operations with daily accounting tasks and help ensure accuracy and quality across our financial processes. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues at our Copenhagen headquarters as well as our international entities in the US and Japan.
About the Role
As a Finance Assistant, you will be a key part of our finance team, ensuring smooth and accurate financial processes across our global entities. You will handle daily accounting tasks, support period-end closing, and help maintain compliance with local and international reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payables: process invoices for approval, book and pay invoices, and handle creditor communication
- Handle accounts receivables: book incoming payments, send reminders, manage bankruptcies, and communicate with customers
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare VAT and Intrastat reporting, and submissions to Danmarks Statistik
- Post general ledger transactions on an ad hoc basis
- Manage accruals and provisions
- Oversee Mastercard and travel expenses
- Maintain fixed assets registers
- Conduct inter-company reconciliations
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
- Familiarity with finance systems (experience with Business Central, Continia and Acubiz is an advantage).
- Ability to collaborate across teams and international locations.
