In-House Legal Counsel
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and curious In-House Legal Counsel to join our team. This role is ideal for a legal professional at the beginning of their in-house career who is looking for broad exposure to legal work in a SaaS company and the opportunity to develop across multiple legal disciplines.
You will work closely with experienced colleagues and stakeholders across the organization, supporting legal matters related to commercial agreements, product development, compliance, and internal policies. The role offers hands-on experience with both EU and US legal frameworks in an international business environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including customer contracts, partner agreements incl. standard documents as NDA’s, DPA’s etc.
Support product development and engineering teams with legal input on SaaS, IT law, IP, and data protection matters
Assist with data protection and privacy compliance, including GDPR-related tasks
Provide legal support on employment and labor law matters in collaboration with HR
Support trade compliance and international business activities, including export control and sanctions compliance
Help monitor and summarize relevant EU and US legislation affecting the business
Contribute to internal policies, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments
Work with external counsel under supervision when required

Qualifications & Experience
cand.jur. (Master of Laws LL.M.) or cand.merc.jur. (Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration and Commercial Law) or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience from a legal role, legal traineeship, or relevant student position
Interest in commercial law, SaaS, technology, and international business
Previous experience with contracts or compliance is an advantage, but not a requirement
Skills & Competencies
Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory, as all legal work is conducted in English
Strong willingness to learn and develop across multiple legal areas
Structured, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks
Able to translate legal requirements into practical guidance
Comfortable working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
