The opportunity

We’re expanding our embedded platform team and are looking for a Senior Embedded C / Linux Developer to help evolve our next-generation secure gateway platform.

This is not a narrow implementation role. You will work at the core of a product where networking and security are fundamental, and where senior engineers are expected to shape solutions — not just execute predefined tasks.

You’ll often work from high-level product goals and evolving requirements, turning them into robust, production-ready solutions. You take ownership beyond your own tasks, proactively identifying gaps, clarifying uncertainties, and driving progress to ensure we deliver solid outcomes.

As a senior profile, you’ll naturally contribute to the team’s direction — sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues when needed, and helping maintain momentum. We value engineers who lead by example, raise the technical bar, and contribute to a strong, collaborative engineering culture.

This role offers significant technical influence in a scale-up environment where initiative, accountability, and teamwork matter.

🔧 Technical highlights

In this role, you will work hands-on with:

· Embedded Linux platforms built using Yocto

· System security: secure boot, system hardening, certificates, updates

· Networked gateway devices operating in real-world industrial environments

· Debugging complex issues across kernel, user space, and network layers

What you’ll do

· Develop and maintain embedded C software on Linux-based gateway devices

· Design, implement, and maintain network-related functionality across kernel and user space

· Work hands-on with Linux networking stacks and tools

· Contribute to a Yocto-based Linux platform used across our embedded products

· Strengthen the security architecture of the platform (secure boot, hardening, updates, access control)

· Collaborate closely with backend, and hardware teams to deliver robust end-to-end networking solutions

· Debug and resolve complex issues spanning networking, security, and embedded Linux

· Ensure long-term reliability, performance, and maintainability of deployed devices

What we’re looking for

· Strong experience with embedded C development on Linux

· Solid hands-on experience with Linux networking (TCP/IP, routing, firewalling, VPNs)

· Experience with networked embedded devices or gateway-type systems

· Experience with Yocto-based systems or similar embedded Linux build environments

· Good understanding of embedded Linux systems (kernel, drivers, user space)

· Experience with secure embedded systems

· Proficiency with cross-compilation, build pipelines, and Git
