Agile Release Manager

As our Agile Release Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating and managing the release process across multiple agile teams. You will work closely with product managers and owners, development teams, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality releases. Beyond release management, you will also be a champion for data-driven decision-making, taking part in implementing and maintaining agile team metrics and dashboards to foster team development.
Responsibilities:

Release Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and release schedules.
- Manage release dependencies and risks, proactively identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks.
- Communicate release plans and status updates to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in the release process.
- Manage and maintain release tools and infrastructure.

Agile Metrics and Dashboards:
- Cooperating with relevant R&D stakeholders to define and implement key agile metrics to track team performance, including velocity, sprint burndown, cycle time, and defect rate.
- Cooperating with relevant R&D stakeholders to design and develop interactive dashboards to visualize team performance and provide actionable insights.
- Facilitate regular reviews of the content and implementation of team metrics with relevant R&D stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Agile Release Manager, preferably in a fast-paced software development environment.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with release management tools and processes.
- Experience implementing and managing agile metrics and dashboards (e.g., Jira, Confluence, other BI tools).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Agile and infrastructure practice certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner, ITIL) are a plus.
