The opportunity

We’re expanding our platform team and are looking for a Senior Software Developer to help evolve our server-side platform for secure connectivity and access control.

This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering, networking, and security. You’ll work on core server components responsible for secure communication, authentication, traffic handling, and reliability in distributed environments.

This is not a narrow feature-delivery role. You will work from high-level product goals and evolving requirements, shaping robust, production-ready solutions that operate in security-critical environments.

You take ownership beyond your own tasks, proactively identifying gaps, clarifying uncertainties, and driving progress to ensure we deliver meaningful outcomes.

As a senior profile, you’ll contribute to technical direction, support colleagues when needed, and help maintain momentum in a collaborative engineering culture. We value engineers who lead by example and raise the technical bar.

This is a role with significant technical influence in a scale-up where initiative, accountability, and impact matter.

🔧 Technical highlights

In this role, you will work hands-on with:

• Linux-based server development (primarily C)

• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, sockets, routing concepts

• Secure communication protocols and encrypted connections

• Authentication, authorization, and certificate handling

• Designing and debugging high-reliability, concurrent server applications

• Diagnosing complex issues across application, networking, and OS layers

What you’ll do

• Design and develop core server-side components in C on Linux

• Implement and improve secure communication mechanisms

• Work directly with networking stacks and socket-level programming

• Strengthen the security architecture of the platform

• Improve performance, scalability, and robustness of server services

• Debug and resolve complex production issues across system boundaries

• Collaborate closely with cloud, product, and other engineering teams

• Contribute to long-term architectural decisions

What we’re looking for

• Strong software engineering background (backend or systems)

• Solid experience developing production-grade applications on Linux

• Experience with network programming (sockets, TCP/IP, concurrency)

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals

• Experience working in security-sensitive environments is a plus

• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
