As Head of Infrastructure & Cloud Operations you ensure that our customers can rely their critical infrastructure on Secomea every second of every day. You’re pushing the boundaries of how modern and secure cloud platforms are operated. You will lead a team of infrastructure specialists and DevOps engineers, while shaping how we scale, automate, and evolve our cloud platform.

This is a hands-on leadership role, where you balance execution, operational excellence, and forward-looking innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Operational ownership & excellence

· Own the end-to-end operation of Secomea’s global SaaS platform across cloud native services as well as self-managed infrastructure

· Ensure 24/7 availability, reliability, and SLA compliance across all environments

· Lead incident management, escalation, and postmortem culture

· Drive resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity

· Establish best-in-class observability, monitoring, and alerting practices

· Drive adoption of AI-augmented practices to take intelligent automation to a new level with reduced manual intervention, enabling self-healing infrastructure and autonomous remediation

Team leadership & Organizational development

• Lead and grow a high-performing cloud and network operations team (Infrastructure + DevOps)

• Bring clarity and measurable outcomes to operations (e.g. uptime, latency, deployment velocity, cost efficiency) and establish a culture of accountability and ownership with continuous improvements and learnings

• Balance innovation with the realities of mission-critical, live environments

• Operate hands-on when needed in a scaling organization

Platform & Operational Strategy

• Act as the operational counterpart to Product and Engineering leadership ensuring our cloud capabilities enable product strategy, roadmap execution, and customer outcomes

• Define and execute the cloud operations strategy aligned with company growth

• Own capacity planning, performance optimization, and cost efficiency

• Drive standardization, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code

• Manage cloud and infrastructure vendors and ensure performance and SLA adherence

Security and Compliance leadership

• Ensure the platform meets high security and compliance standards (e.g. IEC 62443, NIS2, CRA and SOC2)

• Embed zero trust principles into our cloud operations

• Collaborate with Security and Product teams on risk management and compliance readiness

Experience & Background

• Proven experience leading Cloud Operations, SRE, or DevOps teams in a SaaS environment

• Experience operating and scaling mission-critical, globally distributed platforms (24/7) with strict SLA requirements

• Demonstrated leadership of one or more teams in a high-growth or scaling organization

• Strong experience with AWS or Azure at global scale, including multi-region architectures

• Deep understanding of reliability engineering, observability, and incident management (SLI/SLO-driven environments); Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and CI/CD practices; Security, compliance, and resilience in cloud environments

• Proven track record of driving operational maturity to highly automated and proactive environments

• Experience managing cloud vendors and strategic partners, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and SLA adherence

• Hands-on experience with AI-augmented engineering, intelligent automation, or data-driven operations

• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, operating effectively in both leadership and technical contexts

• Experience with SOCs whether as a member or via collaboration is a strong plus
